Pairing Guide Series: Saintly – The Good Rosé

Welcome to the first ‘Pairing Guide Series’ of our ’77 Bulletin. This series kicks off with expert insights from Debbie DeMedeiros, our knowledgeable Deli Bake Manager at Peninsula Co-op Food Centre, conveniently located next to The Liquor Co. 1977 on Keating Cross Road. Known for her passion and thoughtful cheese curation, Debbie brings a genuine warmth to every pairing she recommends.

We’re starting with a classic summer favourite, ‘Saintly – The Good Rosé’, from our ’77 Rewind selection, offered at a special price exclusively for our members!

Debbie’s Pairing Tips:

Mozzarella and Burrata: Fresh and mild soft smooth cheeses such as mozzarella and Burrata complement the lighter, fruity flavours of Saintly – The Good Rosé. To best enjoy fresh Burrata, remove it from refrigeration at least half an hour before serving. Pair it with ripe tomatoes, basil, and crusty bread, drizzled lightly with olive oil.

Prosciutto-Wrapped Melon: Include this popular item on your charcuterie board. The sweetness of the melon wrapped in savoury prosciutto pairs beautifully with the rosé.

Perfect with Fruit: Saintly is perfectly complimented by ripe berries and honeydew melon. The sweet flavours of the fruit will not overwhelm the palate, enhancing your sip of chilled rosé.

Pick up your cheeses and fresh fruits at the Peninsula Co-op Food Centre, and don’t forget to grab your bottle of ‘Saintly – The Good Rosé’ next door, at The Liquor Co. 1977.
